What We Do

Lead On is a community development organisation that provides a framework to encourage partnerships between business/community organisations and wider segments of the community to create projects and activities to link young people with their community.

Lead On is about "real life" learning - and not just for young people ...

Through involvement with Lead On projects and activities, business and community partners can provide the resources, experience and know-how to build the skills and broaden the knowledge of local young people.

Communities involved with Lead On projects experience greater levels of engaged young people who

  • Are proud of where they live
  • Will seek to actively contribute to their community
  • Are better prepared for the transition to employment

This entire Lead On experience will provide business leaders and key decision makers access to young people who are more engaged and excited about their community, and more likely to contribute to the future prosperity of where they live.
