About the Ballarat Office
Lead On Ballarat opened its doors in February 2005 and has since assisted over 500 young people to build their skills, confidence and networks within their community as well as create links into education and employment opportunities. Lead On Ballarat have delivered over 50 diverse projects offered by local community groups and business.
In July this year Lead On Ballarat officially became incorporated!! Now officially Lead On Ballarat Inc.
Lead On Ballarat Inc. has a Youth Advisory Board with 10 current members who meet regularly to develop exciting ideas to take on going forward. We are always looking for new people to become involved in sub-committes and event management.

| The Office for Youth have confirmed that they will continue to fund the Grampians Regional Mentoring Network (GRMN) through to 2011, as part of their committment to supporting the Regional Coordination of Mentoring Initiative. |
| Ballarat Youth Recognition Awards The young people of Ballarat, along with their their adult mentors, were congratulated and recognised for their achievements at the annual Ballarat City Council’s Youth Recognition awards on Friday, November 7. |
 | Lead On Ballarat was successfull in their application to TAC for funding to develop a driver education program specifically for new arrivals settling in the Ballarat area. |

| It has been an exciting year for the Youth Recording Company that has now been officially named Right Click Records. Their website is up and running and can be accessed at www.rightclickrecords.com.au |
 | Drive On aims to provide young people who have been identified to have a significant barrier to them obtaining their probationary licence, with the opportunity to gain supervised driving practice. |
 | Loop provides young people with valuable experience in copywriting, editing, journalism, creative writing, graphic design and photography whilst supplying them with outlets for these creative skills. |
 | Log_on is giving young people the opportunity to work alongside Industry Mentors to develop the skills required to build a professional quality website. |
| Before the Drive is a TAC funded series of workshops which aims to better prepare new arrivals for driving. The workshops cover all aspects of owning and driving a vehicle. |
| The Grampians Region Mentoring Network (GRMN) The Grampians Regional Mentoring Network is one of six coordination projects accross the state, covering all regions of Victoria, developed to help to facilitate effective regional delivery of new and existing mentoring programs.
